Unfinished-Work is a community of DIY creators sharing projects and progress. These guidelines apply to posts, comments, profiles, and any user-generated content. They supplement our Terms of Service.
Be respectful
- Treat other creators the way you'd want to be treated
- Give constructive feedback; no harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech
- Do not target people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
Keep it safe and legal
- No illegal content or activity
- No content that sexualizes minors or no grooming or exploitation of minors
- No encouragement of self-harm, suicide, or violence
- No spam, scams, malware, or phishing
- No doxing (sharing others' private information without consent)
Respect intellectual property
- Only post content you have the right to share
- Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or others' creative work

AI & authenticity
- AI-generated advice from Sage Nav is for project help only — not professional medical, legal, or financial advice
- Do not misrepresent AI output as human professional advice
- Do not use the app to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive content
Privacy
- Use private posts when you don't want content visible to others
- Do not share other people's personal information without permission
- Users must be 18 or older; do not help anyone under 18 create accounts
Reporting & enforcement
In the iPhone app
- Report a post — use the post's report/flag action and choose a reason (spam, harassment, inappropriate content, or other)
- Report a comment — tap the flag icon on the comment
- Report or block a user — open their profile → ⋯ menu → Report or Block
- Blocked users — their content is hidden from your feed and interactions
- Community Guidelines — linked in Settings and in the comments UI
By email (backup)
Email support@unfinished-work.com with subject Content Report. Include:
- Your username and email
- The reported username or post description
- Why it violates these guidelines
- Screenshots if helpful
What we do after a report
We review reports within a reasonable time. We may remove content, warn users, suspend accounts, or permanently ban repeat or severe violations. To appeal a moderation decision, reply to our moderation email within 14 days.
